Megan and Brandon’s adventure began in 2019 at Nowhere Bar in Athens, Georgia—a serendipitous meeting that marked the start of something truly special. Since then, the two have been inseparable, sharing life in North Carolina with their beloved dog, Finn, and traveling the globe to create unforgettable memories.
Their wanderlust has taken them across the United States and beyond, but it was in the stunning city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, that their love story reached a new milestone.
While exploring a secluded trail overlooking the sparkling Adriatic Sea, the couple paused to soak in the breathtaking view before heading to Old Town for dinner. As Megan turned around, she was met with the moment she’ll never forget—Brandon down on one knee, ready to ask the most important question of their lives.
“It was completely secluded, so we got to enjoy the moment just by ourselves,” Megan recalls. “It was so special.”
While Megan had a hint that the proposal was coming—she’d chosen her Trey Emerald-cut—Brandon’s timing was a surprise. “He said the moment just felt right,” she says, and it’s clear that it was.
