Once you receive it, find the sizer ring that slips on to the finger comfortably but still offers some resistance around the knuckle when pulled on and off. It should sit snug at the base of the finger. Once you've found your match, find the number associated with the sizing ring. Be sure to use US sizing, which goes from 0–13 on our sizers. Half sizes are indicated by dashes, i.e. the “-6” is a size 6.5.

Sneak a ring from your partner's jewelry collection—ideally it's one that they wear on their left ring finger, as finger sizes can vary across dominant and non-dominant hands. Take the ring to a local jewelry store and they can provide you with a size. Prefer to measure from the couch? Grab a mandrel like this oneand slip the ring on it. It will land on a value anywhere between 2 and 15. Just make sure to grab the US size, which is what we use here at Eliette.
